[Today's Prayer] Kim Jong-Un named the world's worst persecutor of Christians

A U.S.-based international Christian organization has named Kim Jong-Un as one of the world's worst persecutors of Christians, citing the harsh repression of Christians by the state agency, the National Security Service that must be eradicated. It is estimated that between 200,000 and 400,000 people have been imprisoned for their faith, with torture and even execution for those caught reading the Bible or praying. Pray for the church and believer in North Korea who are being persecuted for their faith.

"2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. (James 1:2-4 NLT)

We lift up the persecuted believers and churches in North Korea. Thank you, God, for raising up a holy generation in North Korea who fully count it all joy when they suffer for their faith. Build them firmly on the rock of faith as they keep the faith in secret, so that they may fully fulfill the endurance of their faith and bear the abundant fruit for the witness of the gospel in North Korea.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
