"She is a mother of faith for me. She secretly visits the homes of thirty underground believers who live in different neighborhoods, different cities, and preaches the Word of God. When I told her about you, she was so excited and came to meet you.
The sister introduced an old woman with gray hair who was sitting in the room.
It has been a lifelong wish of mine to meet the ordained pastor before I die, and God remembered this little one's wish and made it come true today, thank you.
The grandmother was overwhelmed with emotion and cried.
We pray that faith will triumph over all, even in the face of impossible circumstances, and that God, who knows and cares about their hunger, will abundantly meet the needs of North Korean believers and underground churches.
We lift up God's name that He will be glorified through the believers in North Korea who are overcoming 80 years of suffering by the power of the gospel, as 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NLT) says,
“For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen."
I pray to God who remembers and answers the prayers of His children who have longed all their lives to meet God's people, pour out grace to quench their thirsty hearts in North Korea. May You provide abundantly for the needs of the underground believers and churches in North Korea who seek not the riches and glory of the world, but the Word and worship of God, and open the doors of the church to the blessing of worshiping You freely.
We pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
