Sunday: We made contact with a North Korean believer for the first time in 20 years!
“I secretly brought a bible 20 years ago from China, hid it under a fire stone, and took it out, and read
continuously to gain strength in faith.” This is a recent news from North Koreans with a photo. For the protection of the believers, the photo was drawn by a North Korean refugee. Our missionary said, “I praise God for allowing me to contact North Korean believers who are still connected after 20 years, and most
importantly, for allowing me to hear that they continue to read the Bible and maintain their faith to this day.”
Psalm 111:9-10 “He has sent redemption to His people; He has
ordained His covenant forever; Holy and awesome is His name. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever”
According to these words, I praise God for making the gospel to the souls of North Korea. I praise the living God who gives North Korean underground believers strength by remembering God's word even during persecution and reading the Bible whenever there are in trouble. We praise God for establishing in the land of North Korea a holy generation that has walked with the indwelling God for over 20 years. May God’s kingdom fill the land of North Korea today and God’s kindness be upon the northern land and people is to be eternal. Hallelujah!
