“They just don't listen. It's ridiculous to ask people to be loyal to the Communist Party and the prime minister when they're struggling to make a living and are in need. They have two faces: they pretend to be good in the morning and come home in the evening and see foreign cultures... They are full of grievances, but they don't dare speak out because the moment they do, they are executed, punished, and taken away.” North Korean authorities are trying hard to inspire loyalty among the younger generation, but it's not working, defectors told Radio Free Asia. We pray that North Korea's hopeless younger generation will hear the gospel and live with the hope of heaven.
“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it! (Matthew 13:44-46, NLT)
May the young people of North Korea find hidden treasures when they hear the word of life and truth, that they may receive an abundance of grace that is incomparable to anything in the world, and be blessed to live in hope of the kingdom of heaven.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen!
