[Prayer] Unite Us Not by Ideology and Arms, But by the Power of GodCurrent Situation in North Korea

"The stronger our ideology and our guns, the stronger our nation will become."

This is the core of North Korea's doctrine of becoming a powerful and prosperous nation.

That is why the regime shuts its doors to the world the moment anything—even something economically beneficial—poses the slightest threat to its system.

Following this line of thought, Kim Jong Il raised the banner of “Military-First Politics,” aligning with the Juche ideology propagated by Kim Il Sung.

Today, his son Kim Jong Un continues to burn with the ambition of building an empire that prioritizes ideology and military power, while showing little to no regard for the starvation and suffering of his people.

“But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King.

When he is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath.

Tell them this: ‘These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.’”

God who gave us this word from Jeremiah,

We pray that You would bring down the pride of the North Korean leadership who fan the flames of ideological and militaristic conquest,

as well as the pride of the people who blindly follow them in deception.

It is not through strong ideology or powerful weapons that unification will come—

only You, O Lord, have the power to bring true restoration to North Korea, South Korea, and the Korean people.

We trust in You, and we ask for Your mercy upon this nation.

Unite us in Your hand, O Lord.
