“As the bitter cold of -20 degrees Celsius strikes, the number of people who have suddenly gone missing is increasing. It is believed that they died after going out to find food in the cold. Tired of the cold and starvation, many people live in mountain huts or hide on the coast area, to survive by hunting and gathering seafood.” Radio Free Asia reported that in North Korea, more and more people are dying of starvation or freezing to death where chronic food shortages and cold snaps overlap. We ask the Lord for the lives of North Koreans will be preserved, and that they will become God's people who hear the word of truth and realize the grace of salvation.
But may all who search for you be filled with joy and gladness in you. May those who love your salvation repeatedly shout, “The Lord is great!” 17 As for me, since I am poor and needy, let the Lord keep me in his thoughts. You are my helper and my savior. O my God, do not delay.
Psalm 40:16-17(NLT)
Our Father who helps and saves, we depend on your special care and mercy for the people of North Korea who are dying of starvation and in sub-zero weather. Please continuously keep their lives so that they may hear the word of truth and realize the grace of salvation. We ask your blessing for the people in North Korea so that they can join in your glory for eternal life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen!
