[Prayer] May the Good News of Christ spread swiftly through the marketplaces in North Korea.

In the early days of the Korean church, there were many believers in North Korea, but after liberation and communization, more than 3,088 churches disappeared without a trace, and Christians were exiled to remote mountainous areas or martyred. In North Korea, they were labeled as enemies and were treated as the most despised people, unable to participate in normal society. However, when the North Korean economy collapsed, they were the first to be cut off from rations and became the first to survive and become a major commercial force in the marketplace. Prayer is needed that the gospel will continue to spread in North Korea through the market economy of the descendants of the believers who have kept the faith since before liberation.

And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:15-16 NLT)

Through these believers, we pray that many evangelistic opportunities will be created and that the gospel will be actively heard and shared. Through these activities, may many churches be established in North Korea, and may the Bibles needed be sent and safely distributed to the people of God.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
