Recently in North Korea, security guards stormed into where dozens of Christians were secretly worshipping, and arrested and executed them, US Open Doors claims. Also, more than hundred family members of the Christians were sent to political prison camps. Open Doors emphasized the need for a strong message from the international community that the religious oppression in North Korea is getting worse and cannot be tolerated. We pray that the North Korean underground church members will be supported by God’s grace so that they will stand firm in their faith and that the gospel will be spread more widely to North Korea and to all the nations.
“Everyone will hate you because of me. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 Stand firm, and you will win life.” Luke 21:17-19
Lord, we pray for the persecuted underground churches in North Korea. Please embrace them with your grace and strengthen their faith so that North Korean saints will follow the path of Jesus Christ. We pray that the saints will endure through the fiery tribulation and be built as soldiers pure as gold. May the gospel not only be spread in North Korea but in all the nations through these saints.
We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
