[Prayer] NK Defector Christian frustrated by not being able to remember hymn he sang
A NK defector missionary shared the following testimony. “There are many NK defectors /escapees wanting to know about God. But it is sad that there isn’t anyone able to teach them. Systematic Biblical education is needed. One person said that he heard a hymn that he liked very much at church and he sang along. He came home and tried to sing that hymn but did not know which hymn it was.”
Many defectors /escapees have no place to go during Korean Thanksgiving Holiday and they miss their NK families. Now is the time to pray for many defectors / escapees staying in South Korea that they will grow in the Word and love of our heavenly father God.
Jesus, as you said in Matthew 5:7, “Blessed are the merciful for they will be
shown mercy.” We repent of our sins of not being able to love the defectors you
brought to the South for the upcoming reunification. May we cultivate the passion
to serve the defectors living in South Korea and in the United States with the
love of Jesus so that they will grow in Christ. Ultimately, may the necessary
workers be raised for the Gospel reunification. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen!
