[Prayer] May the sharp words of God that can breakdown Kim’s regime be proclaimed today!
North Korea reported that they had the NK diplomats stationed abroad to watch set-top box that only played NK broadcasting contents. It is aimed at blocking the contact between local TV broadcasting, Korean drama and western drama, so that only the system-selected broadcasting and the Kim regime’s ubiquitous contents can be seen. The interesting thing is that the installation costs are imposed on diplomats rather than the NK government.
What is surprising is that most of the North’s elite diplomats are following North Korea’s orders voluntarily not necessarily compulsion to coercive government demands. Through this, we can see how thoroughly North Korea has been brainwashing its residents. As an escapee who has been a diplomat for a long time, he said, "I did not even know that there were many North Korean refugees until they came to South Korea. North Korea's ideological control is so rigid and multifaceted that even if a lot of information comes in, we can easily change the minds of North Korean residents.”
Like the hard and thick ice, North Korea ideology is captivating the North Korean residents to become devoted to Kim’s regime. So how can we break it? To break the hard, thick ice hard hammer is not needed, but a small pointed needle. Likewise, a firm and solid idea that captivates North Koreans can be broken by the word of God breaking through our marrow. Thus, it is necessary to be more actively involved in North Korea missions.
Hebrews 4:12 says, 12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. I pray for the situation that the North Korean authorities are forcing diplomats who are working as diplomats abroad to listen to only the broadcasting which infuses North Korean broadcasting and thought. Despite the North Korean authorities blocking the inflow of external information and controlling their ideology, may God's Word continue to enter North Korea. Let the people of North Korea realize the fictitiousness of the Kim Jong-un regime and internal cracks be widened in North Korea. Above all, may we be more actively involved in North Korean missions, so that the words of God can be passed on to the frozen North Korean lands and souls. Through this, the hardened door of North Korea will open and the church of God will be established in every 4,777 villages in North Korea. Ultimately, may the day soon come when the people of North Korea are free to worship and praise God. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen!
