I wanted to thank you as many of you responded to our previous letter with gifts and encouragement letters. As I am traveling in Korea, I would like to share the following story from the mission field.
Last week, right hand man of 2nd ranking North Korea Hwang Byung-Suh fled to South Korea. We are feeling the crumbling down of the regime as Kim, Jong-Eun tries to maintain his power. More than 20 high ranking officers have defected this year according to news source. Many said that they want to leave before it collapsed so that they will not be caught with treason under new law in North Korea. This is an indication of North Korea collapsing in its power.
On October 10, the day of celebrating 70thanniversary of Communist party in North Korea, only Chinese leaders attended and none of foreign diplomats in North Korea are on the podium with Kim. Kim demonstrated the weapon and to showed how powerful he is. However, what he does not know is that God is more powerful than him and that God may remove him anytime.
As we hear the rattling of the regime, we are continually preparing for unification of North and South, not from political side, but to bring the Gospel to those lost and hungry.
Let us continually pray that God will restore North Korea through a revival like the one in 1907.
And we pray that North Korean underground church people will be mobilized to rebuild God’s kingdom in North Korea.
