[Prayer] Please pray for mission works in the China–North Korea border area
On March 16th, Yonhap News Agency reported that two South Korean pastors who were taking care of North Korean escapees were arrested by the Chines police in the China-North Korea border area.
Peter Jung, the representative of Justice for North Korea said the two pastors and their families were arrested but the families were released after two days of interrogation. The two pastors are moved to a detention house to be prosecuted for helping to smuggle persecuted North Korean defectors.
Persecution against South Korean ministers and missionaries is getting worse because of China’s THAAD revenge. We need to give all mission works for His Kingdom to God’s hand and for divine protection around ministers and missionaries. Please pray for them to get visas to go into China without any hindrances.
Father, thank You for the Scriptures in Psalm 17 verse 7 to 9, “Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who are out to destroy me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.” Lord, pastors and missionaries ae persecuted in the China – North Korea border areas. We pray for divine protection around them. Please protect those who are in danger of arrest. Let them trust You and walk with You. Encourage them to preach the gospel message without any fear. Get rid of all the obstacles so that they can freely move around. We specially pray for a visa issue. Grant them to get necessary visas. Lord, revive mission works for North Korean defectors and the Chinese church even though the circumstances are getting worse. Let Your word be declared without ceasing. We pray for eternal life for those who come to You with faith of Christ. We praise You who are expanding Your kingdom on earth. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen
