[Prayer] North Koreans are still suffering from the flood last year
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)’s review of North Korea’s flood-hit in Northern Hamgyong Province explains how the North Korean government is supporting and helping the city recover from the flood damage. It criticizes that the NK only focuses on rebuilding the town physically, which is against humanitarianism.
A local missionary said that the NK government is demanding money to people to pay for reconstruction. This evil policy must be stopped. Please pray for North Koreans to be provided right and proper help.
Father, thank You for the Scriptures in Psalm 124 verse 7-8 “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
Lord we pray for suffering North Koreans after the damage of the flood last year. We are accusing the North Korean government of forcing people to take responsibility for rebuilding the city. Please have mercy upon North Koreans and deliver them from anguish. The government must stop demanding people to pay for what it has to pay. Please abolish the military first policy in North Korea. Please let other international humanitarian organizations keep helping people in North Korea so that North Koreans can survive. We pray for peaceful Gospel reunification of the two Koreas. Please release North Koreans from blood shedding persecution in North Korea. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen
