[Prayer] North Korean must stop abusing people to get fund for various national projects
According to Daily NK, a soldier who was frequently beaten ran away last month in Yangang province. The source said he escaped military bases on Kim Il Sung’s birthday to revenge on the predecessor who continually abused him physically because officers and predecessors can be punished if shameful things happen on big national holidays in North Korea.
It is said that the Kim Jong Un regime has tightened up discipline among soldiers stricter than before and disobedient soldiers are often heavily beaten up.
Troops around the border are already having issues of mutiny. Even though the government is boasting of its nuclear weapon outside, its soldiers are not at all well-disciplined.
North Koreans serve their military duty for 10 years. However, the government cannot afford to feed them but it is only demanding for excessive loyalty to the nation. North Korean people are also demanded the same loyalty. We need to pray that this kind of situation helps to collapse North Korea regardless of its nuclear weapon. Please pray for reunification of the two Koreas through the gospel message, which is the will and pleasure of God.
Father, thank You for the Scripture in Isaiah 10 verse 1 to 4, “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed; To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless! And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.”Lord please prevent the North Korean government from pushing its military first policy and demanding people to take responsibility for it. We pray for reunification of the two Koreas by all circumstances in North Korea. We believe that one day You will fulfil Your will and vision for the nation through the precious gospel message. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
